We're based in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando and cover the whole metro — Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and north Polk counties. What are your hours?

We work 8am to 6pm, Monday through Saturday. Call (786) 915-7121 any time in those hours and you'll reach us directly. Outside them, leave a message or send a text and we'll come back to you the next working morning.

Do you speak Spanish?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Spanish is our first language, so call and you'll be understood straight away. Se habla español. This whole site is available in Spanish too: use the language switch at the top of any page. For English we prefer written messages, so text or email is the easiest way to reach us: send photos of the job to Ymarquezyera@gmail.com and we can start quoting from them.

How much does a fence cost?

Accepted Answer

Every job is quoted after we've seen it, because the material, the height, the number of gates, the length of the run and what has to come out first all move the number. A hundred feet of chain link and a hundred feet of vinyl privacy are not the same job. Quotes are free and written, and the price is agreed before we start.

Do you offer a discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes — on a project over 250 square feet that includes more than two gates, one gate is free. Mention it when you call and we'll build it into the written quote.

What fence materials do you work with?

Accepted Answer

All of them: wood, vinyl (PVC), aluminium, steel and other metals, and chain link. We install and repair fences and gates in every one of them, so the recommendation you get is based on your yard, your budget and your HOA rather than on the only thing we happen to stock.

How long does a fence last in Central Florida?

Accepted Answer

Vinyl and aluminium will outlast most of us — twenty to thirty years and beyond, because neither rots and neither is worth eating. Pressure-treated wood gives you fifteen to twenty years if the posts were set properly, and far less if they weren't. Chain link is somewhere in between, and galvanised will go longer than the coating on the mesh. In every case the posts fail before the panels do, which is why we spend the money there.

Do I need a permit for a fence in Orange County?

Accepted Answer

Usually yes. Most cities and counties around Orlando require a fence permit, and a pool barrier always does. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and by whether you're inside a city limit, so we check for your address before we start, and we pull the permit as part of the job rather than leaving it with you.

Does my pool fence have to meet a code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Florida's residential swimming pool safety act sets a real standard: the barrier has to be at least 48 inches high on the outside, with no gaps a four-inch sphere passes through and nothing on the outside that works as a foothold, and every gate has to be self-closing and self-latching with the latch out of a small child's reach. We build pool barriers to that standard so they pass inspection, and we'll tell you plainly if an existing fence doesn't meet it.

Will you deal with my HOA?

Accepted Answer

We build to what your HOA has approved — the height, the colour and the style — and we'll give you the specification and the drawings you need to submit for approval. In most Orlando communities the homeowner has to file the request themselves, but you shouldn't have to work out what to put on the form, so we provide the details.

Do I need to be home while you work?

Accepted Answer

No, as long as we have access to the yard and any locked gates are open. It helps to be there at the start so we can confirm the line, the gate positions and where the property boundary actually runs. We'll always walk the finished fence with you before we leave, or send photos if you can't be there.

Question 12

Do you take the old fence away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tear-out and haul-away is part of the quote unless you tell us you want to keep the material. Old posts come out with their footings rather than being snapped off at ground level, because a buried concrete plug is exactly what the new post needs to occupy.
